Empires at war !!!

We are reporting that a first battle as occured between Silesia and Dutchland earlier today. The first news from "Pieronskie Hanysy" fields, where the battle took place, let us know that's it's a Empire's defeat and a Rebel's victory. We sent immediately some reporters to the "Royal Palais" of our ruler Ela to grab some comments about this first encounter. He did not respond saying that it was too busy to manage the last painting on the Wall of our new Cathedral in Stockholm.
Some lieutenants of our mighty dictator told us (anonymously) that the cold war ended and it was time for us to declare war openly. Major council will met tomorrow.

This morning we present to you a short interview with the last king of Sweden in LT6. With many surrenders from opponents, the King annonced earlier today that he will definitively retire.
SPA - So King. It's the end ?
The King - Yes. Sunday I said to my allies that my personnal life was changing this week. So I passed the control. Now operation Vandal is so much a success that I think that it's over. So I retired.
SPA - Yes, that last operation, Vandal, tell us more about it.
The King - Well... If I remember well, 4 transports , around 20 marines, 10 artillery, 4 cruisers, 1 destroyer. When you are at 29 tiles of any ennemy cities, you move before turn change, you attack with marines after, take the city and the rest is history.
SPA - No city could have stopped 18 or 20 marines ?
The King - nope. Most units were veterans. The only question is always : what's behind?
SPA - They could have done exactly the same to us...
The King - They almost did. Pipo took 4 cities, I dont know why he did not continue, maybe lack of units. 80% of Sweden cities were open at that moment. Funny to think. First to attack seriously, win.

King Ela sent an explicit and clear message to Rome and Silesia, on the fields of Poznan (in front of the Babylonian city of Lagash), that Sweden will not tolerate Diplomats so close of the Polish Borders.
Sweden called a council of The Empire to talk about the new Roman's Diplomats presence near our borders.
So far a kind of Peace and respect took place with Rome, with whom we share a quiet, but militarized, border. We understand that Rome wants to help Silesia and Babylon to build a new border with some ground units. We also tolerated that those units exceed in numbers our units.
This announcement has been clearly addressed to Rebels, and King Ela asked to share it with the peoples of Sweden to explain the new government change.

Our Operation Chief Officer and Liberation Commander, Gustav Vasa, has announced earlier today to our reporters that The Empire's Homeland has been liberated ! Our proud offensive ground units have taken the last Silesian city on our side of the Silesian Gulf. What was the former Dutch Homeland have been now restored.
This last battle, a great and easy victory, ended the Operation Clean-Up of which the goal was to retake our lands.
Three cities have been taken two days ago in a major offensive. King Ela said that he could not believe that Silesia gave up the city walls of Pieronskie. Many discussions took place, without any logic conclusion. Why Silesia destroyed two city walls ? Pieronskie would have cost a lot of units if their city walls did not have fallen before the attack. At this moment , it's still a complete mystery : what happened in Silesia ? Why they destroyed their walls ? Some questions, we are afraid, will never be answered...

Earlier today, the new Swedish citizens in Poland made many appeals and demands for peace. Swedish peoples in Stockholm also went in the streets to call nations to live in peace.

Few minutes ago, we received an official statement from our Headquarters that announce the results of Operation "Dragon's Breath" :
- 10 cities taken
- 2 cities destroyed
- 16 grounds units involved in the first battles, no defeat
- 3 Swedish units and 3 Ukrainian units waiting as reinforcements
King Ela made another announcement about our war with Silesia, Babylon and Poland. Poland has just retired from the war few hours ago. King Ela said that peace negotiations has been conducted with Silesia and at a moment we were near an agreement. Unfortunately The Empire's demands were a little bit too much for Silesia, and negotiations failed.

King Ela annonced, few minutes ago, that the operation "Overlord" was completed and successful, for the rest of our troops who did pass the Ironclads barriers.
First landing occurred yesterday when 5 war units of our Country, secretly land in Poland. After some battles, 3 was remaining this morning.
Second landing occurred at first lights this morning when 13 Swedish war units land in 3 different places in Poland. At this moment Battles have begun. The name of this new operation is "Dragon's Breath".

Very early this morning, our Supreme Naval Chief Operator (SNCO), Prince Karl, admitted to our reporters that a huge secret operation was ongoing since 12 turns. This operation was named "Overlord" and has the plan to land about 29 Swedish war units plus about 6 Ukrainian war units in Poland.
The problem was, Prince Karl said, that the major part of our fleet was made of old caravels meanwhile Polish navy has at least 3 Ironclads.
What was supposed to happen, did happen. Two days ago, Polish Ironclads caught about 4 Swedish vessels for a lost of 8 Swedish ground units, and only 21 remaining at sea.
Prince Karl said that this major defeat was never published to not jeopardize the rest of the operation still going on. Prince Karl said that more news will come in few hours.

Supreme Naval Command report that 1 frigate caught a Galleon near "Maho's Beach Club and Resort". After an heroic naval battle, our navy sunk the Galleon. However, our lost were also heavy. The heroic frigate, that is now a wreck, will try to reach nearest harbor as soon as possible.
Civilians of "Maho's Beach" are waiting with anxiety, but in cheers their heroes.
Supreme Naval Command report that the battle save the faith of the island for a while, but not forever. "Maybe Sweden has gone too far" Prince Karl said. Without money, and capacity production, rumors tell that the island will be on sale soon before Sweden loose it.
Civilians hope that peace, the only hope, will keep the island in the Swedish nation.

Our naval headquater report that Silesian vessels escape from our major west fleet, near Jelenia Gora, earlier today. A unexpected fog on the sea, helped the vessels to retreat in Silesian gulf. Our naval troops did not pursue further, and step back.
At this moment, report says that the control of Silesian's gulf entry is still unclear and for this reason, we are not able to claim our naval supremacy over Silesia yet.

Our army chief operator and liberation commander, Gustav Vasa, in command of all ground units, says that he will send a regiment of soldiers to wash the mess. We asked him if he consider the supposition of a friendly circus tour given by Silesia to apologise for his sins. He said that was not a serious option for now, even if it was considered when the "landing" news first arrive.

Last news. Some Ducth's spies report to our headquarter that two Silesian circus units just land not very far from Sigtuna earlier today. Report says that for now we still don't know if those silly knights are here for a peace road show circus tour or for a tentative and pathetic attack on Sigtuna or on a Dutch city.

Our naval's operations chief operator, Prince Karl, report our first victory at sea near Kiruna. He says to our reporters this morning :
At the moment of the report, we still don't know which nation sent a fleet near Kiruna's beach. We will ask to all nations to report any lost at our "lost and found objects" department. We will please to give them back somes bullets found on ship's deck.
