T180 - Game Over?

Hi,
LTXIV has been fun, my favourite game so far, but IMHO it's over now. I feel quite certain that our alliance (Kevin551, Sokrat, MrSynical & Marduk) is victorious. T180 (six months!) seems an appropriate time to end.
So, if the remaining players (Edrim, Elrik, Pytoux, Lord Van and Bkoltai) accept this, we can end it now.
Just to be clear the longturn rules that apply to this game are
Arbitrary players (with arbitrary win share) may be considered the winner of an LT game if they agree to it, and if all live players agree to it.
But we will not get victory points on Marduk's ranking because
..the only outcome of a no-alliances game is 1 winner, who gets maximum points.

LTXIV End of Game
This morning I am stepping down as President of England and I acknowledge the end of LTXIV.
We have clearly come to the end of the game and Kevin the Conqueror has demanded I resign my post or my nation will face merciless destruction at the hands of his endless army. I see no reason to drag the nation into war. I have accomplished all that I set out to accomplish and I am satisfied with the outcome.
This has been quite a fun game and I have enjoyed playing together with you all. I will post my game history as soon as possible.
I look forward to playing again sometime in the future. Thanks to you all! (Even Maho) :)

WinnerS ? Ha, shouldn't it had been a free for all game ? Well, I have to say that I've chosen to go for team play because I wanted to survive, so I guess "longturn-free for all" game might not be possible : if you've got to wait a month before being able to play again, you'd rather try to survive the longest possible.

I kept history for much of the game (will post it soon). I believe Bklotai kept a history as well.

LTXIV History of England coming soon
I kept a detailed turn-by-turn history of my civilization, with several screenshots per turn. They are all still in the original PNG format and the history folder is currently 0.75gb. I will reduce all the images to compressed JPEGs and then I'm not sure if I post page by page or if I should just send the entire package to Maho to post in the new Longturn History forum.
If anyone knows a quick way to do a mass conversion of PNG files to JPEG files, specifically on a Mac, please let me know and I can prepare my history sooner rather than later.

Am not sure that you need to convert to JPEG. You might be better just reducing the quality of the PNG

JPEG (Joint Photography Experts Group) can produce a smaller file than PNG for photographic (and photo-like) images, since JPEG uses a lossy encoding method specifically designed for photographic image data. Using PNG instead of a high-quality JPEG for such images would result in a large increase in filesize (often 5–10 times) with negligible gain in quality.

That argument has low chances of getting flaming, if you both will stick to sentences that are simply right :)
Jpg is for photos, png is for pictures with small amount of colors or with sharp shapes (paintbrush-pencil-style, with no blurring). And it can't be simpler than that :)
In case of maps from freeciv, I'd rather choose png. In 256-color mode they would have size of medium-quality jpeg, while still looking like client window - while medium quality jpg would be very far from that impression.

Usually just converting to jpg is enough to significantly reduce file size. Get the convert program by installing ImageMagick then use a shell script (or just type it on the command line; assuming you are using osx and that it has a bash like shell):
for i in *.png; doconvert $i ${i/png/jpg} && rm -f $i
done
Remove the && rm -f $i if for some reason you want to keep the originals.
