LTXIII, no huts

With current settings there are 50 'goody huts' distributed on the board. I thought this was a fairly trivial matter until I playtested it. I downloaded the rulesets from the server settings link on the right, changed the explorers move rate to 90 and watched him explore the board by hitting auto-explore. After getting some gold and a couple of techs he managed to find a friendly city. There were 6 warriors inside. !
This could seriously distort the start of the game.
Setting in the core server settings
set huts=0 - no huts
set huts=50 - 50 huts
Should huts be set to 0?

Can we stop making polls? It will prolong the start of LTXIII. A poll is supposed to last 2 weeks. This poll means LTXIII won't start for another 2 weeks. What am I supposed to do now - spend more time with the family, go to bed early, work??
Seriously thought, LTXIII is using the new client and new rules. It is unlikely to get settings of the game perfect.
Can I suggest this poll get postponed for LTXIV? Or can we start LTXIV now and wait for the LTXIII to finish in the meantime?

I know I should make a poll that votes for LTXIV to start on the 1st of September no matter what. If polls aren't finished by then, they get passed on to the next games or canceled. I once worked out that games last 10-14 weeks. This one lasted 11 weeks. So if we start a game every 8 weeks, when one games ends we are already in past the slow growing stage of the new games. Sorry if this seems like more work for someone, but having a schedule might make things easier. Just throwing my thoughts out there.

I think we already changed the poll duration to 1 week a few polls ago. (no one objected to the idea so I assume it went ahead)
I know this poll is trivial but I don't think this one is blocking the start of the game. We are still waiting for the teams to be announced, for two other more important polls (map size and city trading), and possibly for bugs to be fixed.
Next time we update freeciv we should create the first poll to import all the longturn settings. It is easier to take out one or two afterwards than to add dozens.
Having a schedule for game starts seems fine. I guess we would have to ask Maho first if such a time frame is feasible for him.
