I suggest we use Book's moverefilltime patch in LTXIV.
We have already discussed Book's moverefilltime patch , and why it it is good to remove the double turn attack.
Book's moverefilltime patch is here.
No longturn game has yet used this patch. It is currently being tested on ltex21 .
My reason for adding the poll is stopping double turn moves by applying the patch.
Shall we use Book's moverefilltime patch in LTXIV ?

I published this poll as
I published this poll as closed initially, because it's the most convenient way to publish Kevin's opinion.
However, I don't consider applying this patch in LTXIV, because there is suspicious that there is something wrong with it.
Also, I have no feedback from LTeX2.1, neither positive nor negative. Unfortunately, I had no opportunity to test it with my units.
I think only a few people
I think only a few people are playing the LTex game - Marduk and Trlv and others should consider commenting. If people are interested to give the patch a good test, please join the LTex2.1 game. I don't think it matters if you quit after 1 week.
With the number of units and cities it is hard to tell if anything is going slightly wrong. Overall it seems to work well - be aware that game strategy can be quite different. However, I have seen no fatal bugs in the patch.
I would be cautious about apply the patch to a full LT game in case there is a fatal bug 1 month into the game...
You should be able to see
You should be able to see the effects of the patch very easily. Assumming that maho set the moverefilltime setting to some number N of hours (e.g. 6 = 21600 seconds as the value of the setting) do your moves less than N hours before the turn change. If you can move immediately after the turn change then something is wrong, since your units' moves should refill exactly (+-1,2 seconds) N hours after you made them.
Other than that, be on the lookout for weirdness in special situations, like when units are bribed, lose hp, etc. Not that those are not handled, but just in case. ;)
N=10 hrs. Due to the number
N=10 hrs. Due to the number of units, some are moved prior to N and some after N, some are new units, so I cannot tell for sure the appropriate units have restricted movement.
However, I can say some units do not have movement at turn change, and some units get movement during the course of the 24 hr turn.

Hmm didn't think of bribing cases. Unfortunately, I think most people are in democracy/communism now.
I have noticed that some units are not recovering, but I could be moving them around. I will be more careful with watching that.
Unfortunately, I think most
don't worry ... I will probably start LTeX2.1 from scratch again ...
there is bug (which I have to fix) which explains why Bkoltai et consortes died right after created. They appeared with .. 0 units :).
I think it would be good to start it again, or maybe continue?
Keep going for now ... I
Keep going for now ... I should try and bribe some of your units :-)
Hi,
Are we really waiting for double-turn-proof patch debbuging to start LTXIV ?
It can wait for LTXV, don't you think ?
(i'm dying to start this LTXIV :P)
no, it was rather my
no, it was rather my personal issues.
