I have written it many times, especially on the forum, but it's worth of remind you (especially just added players) that LTeX is different than LT game.
I was researching Mathematics when a newcomer stole the prereq Masonry.
Movement costs are currently 1, 4 or 6. I don't think we need to limit ourselves to these values and I don't think they are very realistic.

LTeX and LT21 use killuh=1 to gradually kill the units who have no homecity. The intent is that each unhomed unit, each turn, loses 10% of its current HP.
